So here’s my “new” color which looks no different (wasn’t expecting it to), except in the sunlight! It shines a pinky red. Next time I’m using straight pink dye. Haha (Taken with Instagram)

It’s funny to me that even among natural girls there’s a hierarchy of acceptance. I see the difference in how I’m treated when my hair is in a twist/braid out versus when I do a wash and go and it’s tightly coiled and short.

Yup. I read somewhere once where this woman put it perfectly, she said somethin like ‘we have gone from being obsessed with straight hair to now obsessed with the perfect curl’. It’s so annoying.

Tired of people calling the natural look a “phase”! It is not…well not for me anyway. I’m glad I saw the light and that I can finally embrace my culture, race, heritage and myself and love every bit of my natural being! I love my natural hair, I love my natural nails and I love my natural beauty! This is who I am and it is NOT and will never be a phase! Get used to it!
